Cape Town leg of the BSG Energade Triathlon Series

Date: 5 Dec

Place: Big Bay

You can take part in the three disciplines of swimming, cycling and running if you feel up to it, otherwise come and support the athletes. This is the last leg of the race that has been run in Potchefstroom, Roodeplaat, Germiston, Midmar and Vanderbijlpark. Call the organisers on 011 215 6666 if you feel like entering.

Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens

Date: 3 and 4 Dec

Place: Greenacres, Port Elizabeth

China Sourcing Fair

Date: 1 – 3 Dec

Place: Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg

Sexpo

Date: 2 – 5 Dec

Plate: International Convention Centre, Cape Town

Stellenbosch Christmas Craft Market

Date: 1 – 4 Dec

Place: Dutch Reformed Central Church, Stellenbosch

Durbanville Night Market

Date: 3 and 17 Dec

Place: Rust en Vrede Estate, Wellington Road, Durbanville

You can browse through 200 stalls of hand-made crafts and other wares. Set under the trees at the Heritage gardens you’ll enjoy the relaxed pace.

Observatory Festival of Arts

Date: 3 – 5 Dec

Place: Observatory Central, Cape Town

This is a favourite with the locals. Every year hundreds of Cape Tonians flock to Observatory’s streets to enjoy the liveliness of the Observatory Festival. Not to be missed. You’ll find esoteric food, music and other wares on sale. This year they’ve shed their old name (Obzfest) and are starting fresh.
