Suburbia is full of unpicked apple and pear trees. And what’s the best thing you can you make with apples and pears?

Cider.

John Burgess, Peter Newton and Rochelle Schwartz decided to pick all these unwanted apples from London’s suburbs (about 750 kilos) and turn it into delicious (and very wanted) cider — London Glider Cider  to be exact.

And as if that wasn’t brilliant enough, they even give the dry apple pulp left over from the pressing to a local farmer to feed to his sheep.

In the words of co-owner John Burgess “The more you drink, the more sustainable the project becomes”

So let’s get drinking.
