The UK’s London Bicycle Film Festival kicks off this week, So if you like bikes and you like films then this is the event for you. London Bicycle Film Festival starts Thursday October 4 and runs until Sunday October 7th.
A whole host of beautiful and brilliant bike films will be playing at the Barbican Center every day, alongside plenty of other bike-related events like a Rollapaluza Roller Race, a bike tyre pumping competition, a BMX jam and a bike themed pub quiz at Look Mum No Hands Café on Sunday.
The films celebrate the love of bikes, the beauty of bikes, the creativity inspired by bikes, the freedom of cycling and the high and lows that come with those two wheels.
The festival is held all over the world and each time it parks up it brings a new wave of bike love and enthusiasm, encouraging more and more of us to hop on and pedal off into the bike lanes.
For any bike and film fanatic, you need to head along. And for anyone unsure about hopping on the saddle. And oh btw, you also get a bike valet at the screenings. Sweet.
