    Seriously, they did this to you? I hope you reported it and made sure the Turkish police followed up on it. People like that deserve to have their businesses closed down. Its bad for tourism. They’re idiots anyway, because one day they’ll pick on the wrong person. Some meek looking little guy who is toting a Glock and has a screw loose.

    Hey Philip, Yes indeed, fortunately and unfortunately, it did happen!
    Turkish police are very hard to find in the middle of the night, at least in my particular experience. Besides that, at the time it was happening, you’re trying to get out of there unscathed, much less look for the police. This scam happens everywhere, just a matter of being alert. Happy travels. :)
