We love tap water. That much should probably be clear by now. But we’ve just discovered a whole new passion.
A new artisan café, Casa del Agua, in New Mexico City serves filtered rainwater in reusable glass bottles. The water is meticulously cleaned and filtered and then rematerialised and ionized, increasing its alkaline and antioxidant properties.
It hasn’t overtaken our passion for tap (nothing ever will) and of course, it has a higher price tag than it’s tap equivalent but we like the rise in local, all-conserving, plastic-bottle-free water.
