Some of you weren’t that impressed by the little paint splatting device you attach to your bike to splodge paint onto potholes and uneven, dangerous road surfaces. Admittedly, it is a bit graffiti-like and probably a little bit illegal. But then cycling on potholed roads is a nightmare.
So for those of you that didn’t like it, I’m certain you will love this.
Potholes for Povery is a pothole removing project in Portland (sounds like a tongue twister but stick with it, it’s a really good thing).

They will come along and patch up your least favorite, most troublesome, super annoying pothole and in return all you need do is donate to charity or give 10 hours of your time to helping out a valuable cause.
They have some suggestions of worthwhile charities you can help out, or you can suggest your own. And the people fixing the pavements are the very official Coast Pavement Services - no cowboy builders or disillusioned do-gooders.

Just send in a photo of the particularly unpleasant pothole you want patched up, an address and a promise of what you will donate/do and they will do the rest.
