A Taste of Paradise Just In Time for Spring Break in America’s Midwest

The college kids from Indiana University are away on spring break, so Chef Daniel Orr offers up tropical cuisine and cocktails March 8 through 17, 2013, to bring thoughts of sandy beaches and swaying palms to southern Indiana.

The sixth annual Caribbean Week at FARMbloomington, 108 Kirkwood Avenue, Bloomington, Indiana.

It’s no coincidence that the chef’s latest book, Paradise Kitchen, focuses on island fare. Chef Daniel draws inspiration from cooking in Anguilla in the British West Indies and his travel through Brazil, Mexico and other parts of the Caribbean.

For this year’s snippet of summertime flavor, he selects specialties from his repertoire, including his Anguillan Goat Curry. And don’t miss his sweet tropical tableside finale of Flaming Bananas!
