In mid day, the Mid-Atlantic Wine and Food Festival will take place in and around the Brandywine Valley, and central and coastal Delaware from May 14 through 18 2014.
The festival is a culinary journey encompassing Wilmington, New Castle, Smyrna, Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and numerous towns and cities in between stops for the festival include locations ranging from private homes and hotels to restaurants, barns and public spaces — including historic properties.
Some 90 chefs and 20 winemakers from six continents are taking part. Experts share insight through 23 diverse courses at the Festival Marketplace May 17, 2014, from how to take great food photos, to the art of butchering, to tasting and appreciating all five vintages of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon.
The Bazaar at the Capital One Festival Marketplace houses our Wine Shop, where you can meet our visiting winemakers and take home signed bottles of wines, cookbooks, honey, olive oil and more.
