Adding to the never-ending demand for great music, another festival is making plans to make their mark in North America this summer.  The St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival started out as an Australian block party and is now touring internationally.

This boutique style indie festival is known for its’ forward thinking, adventure line-ups.  The festival is stretching its’ reach to three countries and seven cities this year by adding North America to the mix on September 14 at Meadow Brook Music Festival in Rochester Hills, Michigan.

The Detroit area has a history and presence of dynamic music, which is what makes it a great location to house The St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival’s North American debut.  At the Laneway Festival Detroit, the festival’s overall desire is to bring great music to fans while maintaining the standard their fans around the world have come to know.

As the Laneway Festival has gained recognition on the global festival circuit they have been privileged with the presences of artists such as Feist, Florence + the machine, XX, and M83 in the early days of their careers.  The unique sense of community that Laneway desires to keep is what has made this a favorite place for artists to play.

As the vision for Laneway and the Laneway Festival Detroit has continued to grow, they are truly striving to bring some of the best indie talent to this event.
